A yet to be identified man has been electrocuted to death in Asaba, the Delta State capital, The Story can authoritatively report.
Trouble started on Friday September 10th 2021, close to the United Bank for Africa (UBA), opposite the popular Grand Hotel, Nnebisi Road, Asaba, Oshimili south local government area of the state.
It was learnt that the man was engaged to fix zinc in a shop when it had contact with current, killing the mann on the spot.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, said: “I am not aware”.
At press time, call put across to the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Esther Okolie, was not answered.
