The Executive Director, Projects, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Olorogun Taleb Tebite, has stated that the Board’s drive is to ensure that the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is achievable.
Tebite who made this known on Tuesday in Warri, when he played host to members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ughelli Correspondents’ Chapel, thanked former governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and God Almighty for his appointment as the Executive Director, Project of the DESOPADEC Board.
He assured that the management and staff of DESOPADEC would prudently apply its resources towards achieving the MORE AGENDA of the State Governor.
According to him, the present sets of management of DESOPADEC are result-oriented individuals who would collaborate with other agencies for the maximum benefit of all Deltans.
“We do not work in isolation with the government. We work in conformity with the MORE AGENDA of our amiable governor to change the narratives of the state.
“I can assure you that DESOPADEC won’t fail the people. We do things to make the people out there know that in Sheriff, we trust, and on God, we build our hope.
“We shall apply everything given to us judiciously in making sure that all we are given to do are done perfectly well.”
While seeking greater interaction and understanding among newsmen, the Project Director charged the members of the NUJ to discharge their duties without prejudice, urging journalists to report nothing but the truth.
Earlier, the Chairman of Ughelli Correspondents’ Chapel, Comrade Sunday Apah, in his speech, thanked Taleb Tebite for his warm reception, assuring that members of the Chapel would perform their duties accordingly.
