Former Delta State Commissioner for Works, Dr. George Ugbomah, has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the successful completion of the Asaba storm drainage system, describing it as a landmark project that will safeguard the future of the state capital.

In a statement issued Wednesday in Asaba, Dr. Ugbomah said the governor’s intervention would not only mitigate perennial flooding across major roads but also protect critical infrastructure within the metropolis.
