The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended warm felicitations to former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
Rt. Hon. Guwor described Dr. Uduaghan as a dedicated public servant and visionary leader who made remarkable contributions to the development of Delta State during his tenure as Governor from 2007 to 2015.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker recalled Dr. Uduaghan’s impactful years of service as Commissioner for Health and Secretary to the State Government (SSG), noting that his commitment to public service has been both outstanding and inspiring.
“Dr. Uduaghan’s legacy is inspiring, and his commitment to the progress of Delta State remains an enduring example for many people,” Guwor stated.
The Speaker commended the former Governor’s achievements in infrastructure development, healthcare, and education, emphasizing that his people-oriented leadership continues to shape the state’s progress.
He also lauded Dr. Uduaghan’s humility, compassion, and passion for service, which have earned him deep respect and admiration among Deltans.
On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly and his Warri South West Constituents, Rt. Hon. Guwor wished Dr. Uduaghan a happy birthday, good health, and God’s continued guidance and protection.
