Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, widely recognized for his transformative leadership, has invited the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) to collaborate on initiatives aimed at empowering young people and fostering socio-economic development in Delta North and beyond.

During a meeting at Senator Nwoko’s National Assembly office, facilitated by Mr. Eric Ogbekene of E & O Global Konsuktz Ltd, representatives of SWUYN presented their mission to address the challenges of unemployment among Nigerian youths.

Senator Nwoko commended the organization’s vision and structure, applauding their proactive efforts to create opportunities for young people.

He emphasized the critical role youth-led initiatives play in nation-building and reiterated his commitment to supporting programs that uplift and empower the younger generation.

This partnership reflects Senator Nwoko’s dedication to driving positive change and investing in the future of Nigerian youth.

“It is organizations like SWUYN that demonstrate the power of focus, strategy, and determination in addressing the challenges facing our society. The youth must always remember that action, is the first step to change,” he remarked.

He further demanded that they declare their mission statements which they clearly did. This was to ascertain that he had the right group he sought out.

The Senator has requested SWUYN to outline a detailed framework for a planned collaboration, including strategies for skill acquisition, employment generation, and entrepreneurial development.

This plan, once submitted, will serve as the foundation for actionable and impactful initiatives under this partnership.

Hon. Gloria Okolugbo, Director of Communications in the Senator’s office, commended SWUYN for setting a commendable example.

“This partnership demonstrates that when youths organize and present structured solutions, they can attract the support needed to drive real change. It is a model worthy of emulation by other groups across Nigeria,” she stated.

As Senator Nwoko continues to champion youth empowerment, this collaboration is poised to become a beacon of hope and inspiration, showcasing what is possible when vision meets initiative.
