Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, hosted members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Delta North on Wednesday, where they held meaningful discussions aimed at fostering unity and driving regional progress.
In a post shared on X, the Senator described the meeting as an opportunity to strengthen bonds and engage in open, constructive dialogue about their shared aspirations.
A key focus of the conversation was the creation of Anioma State, a vision Nwoko passionately described as essential to the unity, progress, and rightful place of the Anioma people within the Nigerian federation.
“We also discussed the broader developmental challenges facing our senatorial district,” Nwoko said, noting that they explored practical solutions to enhance progress and improve the lives of their constituents.
Stressing the importance of unity, the Senator remarked, “Unity is the foundation upon which lasting change is built.
As leaders and stakeholders, we must set aside our differences, strengthen our relationships, and work together for the betterment of Delta North.”
Nwoko reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the push for Anioma State, believing that its creation would address the unique challenges of the Anioma people and unlock new opportunities for growth.
He concluded with a pledge to continue championing the cause of progress, unity, and prosperity for Anioma, stating, “Our collective aspirations deserve unwavering dedication, and I will remain committed to serving the people of our beloved region.”
