Senator Nwoko Meets Delta North APC Leadership, Restates Commitment To Development, Unity

Senator Ned Nwoko on Sunday held a strategic meeting with the Delta North Senatorial Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the nine local government chairmen, and 98 ward chairmen of the party in the district.

The meeting, which took place at the Asaba residence of the Delta North APC Chairman, Ogbueishi Adizue Eluaka, centered on consolidating the party’s structure, strengthening unity, and deepening engagement on the Renewed Hope and M.O.R.E. development agendas of the federal and state governments.

Addressing party leaders, Senator Nwoko described the gathering as a forum of brotherhood and shared vision.

He thanked the leaders for their solidarity and reaffirmed his position as “a senator for the good of the entire Delta North,” stressing that his service transcends partisan boundaries and social class.

Highlighting his achievements over the past two years, the lawmaker listed the provision of infrastructure such as roads, solar-powered electricity, water projects, rehabilitation of schools, skill acquisition initiatives, and employment opportunities for constituents.

He also emphasized his advocacy for the upgrade of the Federal College of Education, Asaba, into a full-fledged university and the establishment of a College of Agriculture at Idumuje-Ugboko to support the agrarian economy of Delta North.

Senator Nwoko further restated his commitment to effecting positive change through people-centered bills and motions.

He reaffirmed his strong support for the creation of Anioma State, describing the movement as “the centerpiece of his vision for Anioma people,” and expressed optimism that the dream would soon become a reality for present and future generations.

In their remarks, ward chairmen representing Aniocha/Oshimili, Ndokwa/Ukwuani, and Ika federal constituencies, Frank Asimonye, Goodman Enudeme, and Jude Ossai, commended Senator Nwoko for his effective representation.

They lauded his generosity and dedication to the welfare of the people while pledging continued loyalty and support.

The meeting was attended by Delta North APC senatorial executives, nine local government chairmen—Hon. Matthew Chinye (Aniocha North), Hon. Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma (Aniocha South), Hon. Austin C. Nnabuife (Oshimili North).

Hon. Dada Okolo (Oshimili South), Hon. Hilary Fada Ibude (Ika South), Hon. Samuel Ekene Kerry (Ika North East), Chief Oputa Kris (Ndokwa East), Hon. Dike Onah (Ndokwa West), and Churchill Ugoena Edem (Ukwuani), as well as 98 ward chairmen across the senatorial district.
