Delta North APC chieftain, Chief Emmanuel Eboh, has described Senator Ned Nwoko as a pivotal force in advancing both the Delta State Government’s M.O.R.E. Agenda and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision.

Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, Eboh said Nwoko’s impact extends well beyond his legislative duties, noting that the senator has consistently mobilized significant personal resources and public goodwill in support of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.

He emphasized that Nwoko’s “dual commitment” to state and national progress underscores his political influence, while dismissing rumours of a rift between the senator and the governor.

According to Eboh, their relationship is “long-standing, cordial, and mutually respectful,” dating back to the 1990s when Nwoko was practicing law in London.

“Both personalities are working together for the good of the state,” Eboh affirmed, adding that any counsel Nwoko offers the state government is given in good faith to enhance governance.

The APC chieftain cautioned against what he described as the “mischief and sycophancy” of individuals seeking political favour by misrepresenting Nwoko’s advocacy.

He also cited the senator’s strong alignment with public sentiment, referencing a recent commentary on Delta politics by Channels Television’s Seun Okinbaloye, which he said attests to Nwoko’s influence among opinion leaders.

Eboh further recalled that on June 14, 2025, at Nwoko’s Idumuje Ugboko residence, the first and most notable APC endorsement of both President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori ahead of the 2027 elections took place, a development he described as “a bold testament to Nwoko’s good intentions.”

“His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko are good friends.

“In the whole of Delta State, the first and most outstanding APC endorsement of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori so far, ahead of 2027, happened at the senator’s residence on June 14, 2025.

That stands as a bold testament of Nwoko’s good intentions,” Eboh stated.
