A hit-and -run driver has knocked down a pregnant woman, killing her on the spot along Affiesere Road, Ughelli, the administrative headquarter of Ughelli north local government area of Delta State.
The pregnant lady simply identified as “Violet”, also known as Queen Carter, lost her life in a a motorcycle also known as “bike” accident.
It was gathered that sympathizers stood and watched as the lady gave up the ghost with her first pregnancy.
According to reports, she was on her way home from the popular Oil City in town when the accident occurred.
A source said they were hit by an unidentified vehicle.
“Her name is Queen Carter!! She was involved in an accident last night at Afiesere Junction, along the Afiesere Road axis.
“Instead of the people surrounding her to rush her to the hospital, they were making videos. And she was pregnant, the source notified Focus Naija.
