No fewer than three persons, two female children and a woman have been confirmed dead in the Salvation Ministry building collapse that occured during its evening service in Okpanam, Oshimili north local government area of Delta State.
A release by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, disclosed this on Wednesday January 12th 2022.
According to him, the news that went viral that 10 were dead in the building collapse, was incorrect.
The image maker further disclosed that 11 persons are still receiving treatment while four were discharged.
His words: “Rescue Operation is over, 18 person rescued initially, four person’s discharged, 11 person’s still receiving treatment.
“Three deaths recorded which includes two female children and one woman, their names unknown for now.
The PPRO added, “kindly debunk the rumours making rounds that ten people died, that’s not correct”.
