Ogwashi-Uku Development Union President Calls For Peace

The President of Ogwashi-Uku Development Union (ODU), Mr. Patrick Izu Osamor has called for peace among all Ogwashian indigenes and leadership Institutions in Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha south local government area of Delta state.

The President made the call in his welcome address he presented at the Annual ODU general Conference held at the Civic center, Ogwashi-Uku yesterday.

Mr. Osamor informed the well attended gathering of his efforts to make peace with the Palace which has led to dropping of so many Court cases between His Majesty, Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo and the ODU.

He however appealed to the delegates to prevail on the Association and its members, an incoming Ogwashi-Uku Town Union to withdraw the case they instituted against the newly sworn in ODU Executive Council for faster development of the town.

The President disclosed that he Christened this year’s annual General Conference Udo ga adili Maka umu anyo, highlighted the benefit of peace and for generation yet unborn.

The well attended meeting were made up from Ogwashi-Uku Indigenes residing in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Warri, Asaba, Abuja and very important dignitaries from Ogwashi-Uku.

Also in attendance were past ODU leaders, representatives of Ogbes and notable Clubs and Associations in Ogwashi-Uku.
