The joy of the current Accessor with the Delta State Family Court, Agbor and immediate past President, Ubulu-Uku District Customary Court, Mr. Michael Odiah (JP), knew no bounds when two square pegs in a square holes were sworn-in as Chief Judge of the state and President, State Customary Court.

“If history is to have a seat in our schools today, this would be a great day to be remembered, but as God may have it, without the walls of a classroom, this day will forever be remembered.

“Because this is the first time two industrious and eloquent women would head the two tiers of the Delta state Judiciary at the same time, and this is coming at the right time”.

Mr. Odiah stated this when Justice Theresa Diai and Justice Patience Elumeze, were sworn-in by the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, respectively.

He expressed his heartfelt warm wishes, stressing that “I have no doubt that the Justices will do exceedingly great as always in all ramifications”.
