Oborevwori’s Wife Seeks Council Chairmen’s Wives’ Support For Her Pet Project

The First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has said she would require the support of the wives of the local government council chairmen to reach every nook and cranny of the State.

She stated this Wednesday September 11, 2024, in her office at a meeting with the wives of the 25 local government council chairmen to formally introduce and acquaint them with the objectives and mission of her pet project, You Matter Charity Foundation.

In a post on her social media page, Mrs Oborevwori, tasked them to see the project, “as part of our collective efforts to enhance social impact across communities”.

She urged the council Chairmen’s wives to give their unwavering support to their husbands in the discharge of their duties.

Her words: “In furtherance of the shared vision for effective governance and community development, today, I had the privilege of holding an official meeting with the wives of the newly elected local government council chairmen in the state.

“During the engagement, I urged them to offer steadfast support to their husbands in the discharge of their official duties, while fostering unity, collaboration, and mutual cooperation among themselves.

“I reiterated my commitment to partnering with them and invited them to serve as ambassadors of my pet initiative, the You Matter Charity Foundation, as part of our collective efforts to enhance social impact across communities”.

She disclosed that the women conveyed their sincere appreciation to my husband, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his steadfast support of their husbands’ leadership aspirations.

“They reaffirmed their dedication to public service and pledged to actively contribute to the objectives of the You Matter Charity Foundation in advancing community welfare and development”, she said.
