Oborevwori Pen Down Birthday Note To Aguariavwodo At 66

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated a former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and former Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo, as he clocks 66 years.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, on Friday in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori extolled Aguariavwodo as a distinguished parliamentarian, who had had the rare privilege of serving both in the Green and Red Chambers of the National Assembly.

He remarked that Aguariavwodo had every reason to rejoice and give thanks to God Almighty for all of His blessings, which included enabling him to live to be 66 years of age in good health and mental clarity.

While congratulating him, the governor lauded the sterling contributions of Aguariavwodo to the development of the Urhobo nation, Delta State and Nigeria.

The Governor urged Aguariavwodo, who is his Senior Political Adviser, to carry on as a trusted and distinguished politician in advancing the ideas that would strengthen the bonds between the people of the three senatorial districts of the state.

Governor Oborevwori said: “We recall your indelible contributions as a former member of House of Representatives and the second Managing Director of the NDDC and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate you, Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo’ on your 66th birth anniversary.

“As you celebrate this wonderful anniversary with joy, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of happiness.

“I join your family, friends, political associates and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for His continued guidance, protection and provision for you in the past 66 years of a life of outstanding patriotism and great accomplishments with which He has blessed you”.
