Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Tuesday formally inaugurated the Local Government and Ward Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a move aimed at strengthening the movement’s grassroots presence and deepening its engagement with communities across the state.

The ceremony, held in Asaba, attracted senior government officials, party leaders, and stakeholders committed to advancing the Renewed Hope agenda.

Represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, Governor Oborevwori underscored that the inauguration of 25 Local Government and 270 Ward Coordinators provides a structured bridge between the government and the people at the grassroots.

“You are the heartbeat of Renewed Hope at the grassroots,” Oborevwori said.

“This inauguration is more than recognition, it is empowerment. It equips you with the authority, the structure, and the responsibility to deliver meaningful results in your communities.”

He added, “Today marks a defining moment in the journey of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Delta State. This grassroots framework brings our vision closer to the people, ensuring our message resonates across every community.

The theme, Our Party, One Message, One Mobilisation, reminds us that unity, discipline, and coordinated action are the foundation of our strength.

Speak with one voice, share one message, and mobilise with one purpose.”

Governor Oborevwori charged the new coordinators to engage citizens actively, listen to their concerns, communicate government policies clearly, and highlight the tangible achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope agenda.

“Your role is critical in translating progress into real impact in the lives of the people,” he said.

In his remarks, Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Areyenka, declared that the APC in the state “is on the move, steadily progressing toward success and victory.”

APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), Hon. Victor Giadom, reminded ambassadors that leadership is local, noting they are direct representatives of the party and the President in their communities.

Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, described the inauguration as “a strategic milestone that establishes a strong, functional grassroots structure across all 25 local government areas and 270 wards.”

He urged ambassadors to execute their duties with unity, dedication, and integrity to advance the Renewed Hope agenda in Delta State.
