Oborevwori Felicitates Ovuozourie Macaulay At 65

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Macaulay, on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor joined family members, friends, and associates in celebrating Macaulay, describing him as a distinguished public servant whose career has been defined by dedication, integrity, and purposeful leadership.

Governor Oborevwori lauded Macaulay’s outstanding record of service in various capacities, including Chief of Staff, Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner for Special Duties (Conflict Resolution), and Commissioner for Energy, noting that his contributions have left an enduring mark on the governance and development of Delta State.

He further commended the veteran labour leader’s detribalized nature, humility, and generosity, describing him as a unifier who continues to bridge ethnic and political divides.

“Today, we celebrate not just your birthday, but a life of impact and a legacy of service,” the Governor stated.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I wish you continued good health, sound mind, and renewed strength as you carry on your service to humanity.”

Governor Oborevwori prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Chief Macaulay and his family, expressing confidence that his exemplary life will remain a source of inspiration to many.
