Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to his predecessor and immediate past Governor of the State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Senator Okowa as a visionary leader, accomplished politician, and devoted statesman whose legacy of dedicated service continues to resonate across Delta State and the nation at large.
He commended the former Governor for his outstanding leadership during his eight-year administration, noting that his tenure laid a solid foundation for sustainable development and progress in the state.
“Senator Okowa’s unwavering commitment to public service, spanning roles as Local Government Chairman, Commissioner, Secretary to the State Government, Senator, and Governor, demonstrates his deep love for Delta and Nigeria,” the Governor said.
Governor Oborevwori further stated:
