Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Elder Omeni Sobotie, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba on Saturday, Governor Oborevwori described Elder Sobotie as a seasoned politician, grassroots mobilizer, and visionary leader whose contributions to Delta’s political landscape remain outstanding.
The Governor commended the APC Chairman for his dedication to public service, commitment to democratic ideals, and consistent role in fostering peaceful political engagements across the state.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I warmly congratulate Elder Omeni Sobotie as he marks his birth anniversary.
“Your steadfastness in politics, bridge-building efforts, and devotion to the welfare of our people are truly commendable.
“I pray that God blesses you with good health, wisdom, and many more years of fruitful service to our state and nation,” Oborevwori stated.
He further urged Elder Sobotie to continue deploying his wealth of experience in promoting unity, peace, and development in Delta, emphasizing that the state achieves greater progress when leaders work together across political divides.
