Oborevwori Congratulates Ochei On Election As Nigeria Tennis Federation President

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei on his election as President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), describing the victory as well-deserved and a testament to his unwavering commitment to sports development in Nigeria.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor extolled Ochei, a distinguished philanthropist, investor, and passionate promoter of grassroots sports, for his consistent efforts in advancing tennis and other sporting disciplines across the country.

Governor Oborevwori noted that Ochei’s emergence reflects the confidence reposed in him by stakeholders in Nigerian tennis, citing his proven record of promoting inclusivity, excellence, and professionalism in sports administration.

“Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei has, over the years, shown remarkable dedication to grassroots sports, notably through his sponsorship of wheelchair basketball and the Davnotch National Tennis Open Championship.

His election as President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation is a fitting recognition of his enduring service to the sporting community,” the statement read.

The Governor expressed optimism that Ochei’s leadership would usher in a new and vibrant era for Nigerian tennis, leveraging his wealth of experience, strategic vision, and international exposure to reposition the sport for greater achievements both locally and globally.
