His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is the spiritual and temporal leader of the Tibetan people.

He once wrote: “The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness”.

On this premise, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Iwhrekan/Edjophe unit, has commended the massive roles, a member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), in Oginibo, Ughelli south local government area, Oteri Homes, foldly addressed by his teeming admirers as Ghanabar, played before, during and after the just concluded general election in Delta State.

The group led by Comrade Sunday Ighowho, thanked Ghanabar for his philanthropic gestures towards youths across Ughelli south local government area.

Comrade Ighowho, said despite not being an appointee of government, Ghanabar, spends his own resources to run the affairs of politics in the area.

According to him, if such a person is given a political portfolio, as a youth Commissioner, he would be more active in empowerment programmes.

He said the reason the election in Ughelli south was a bit tough against the ruling PDP, was the non availability of political actors.

He said except that Ghanabar chested out, PDP would have lost the election in Ughelli south completely.

He tasked the governor of the State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, PDP leaders and stakeholders to look in the direction of the young philanthropist who has almost completed a five-star hotel in the LGA, worthy of appointment.

He stressed that if given the platform, Ghanabar, would carry youths across the State along, as he is not hungry but willing to use his resources to develop youths.
