He’s in custody — Police
The wife of Lucky Esu, Mrs. Ete Esu, has raised alarm, saying her husband, Lucky Esu, was kidnapped on gunpoint at their house in Idimijakpa, Okere, Warri, 12 midnight ( daybreak today).
Mrs. Esu, who raised the alarm 6pm today, Wednesday August 16, said even though the kidnap has been reported to the Police at ‘ A’ Division in Warri and search party launched by youths in Okere, no contact has been made by the abductors, who she alleged pointed gun at their child, in the bid to get her husband.
There has been factional youth crisis in Okere Community, Warri and Lucky Esu, weekend made a viral video, warning of the leadership of Itsekiri National Youth Council, INYC, to stay off Okere Community youth affairs, on the claim that people of Okere Community are descendants of Ekpenede, not Ginuwa 1 Ruling House of Warri Kingdom.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright revealed that Esu, wasn’t abducted but in police custody.
He did not however disclosed reasons behind Esu’s confinement.
