n a remarkable effort to improve infrastructure and enhance security across Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko has facilitated the provision of all-in-one solar powered street lights in selected communities.
This transformative project, executed by Al Qibad International Limited, aims to bring sustainable lighting solutions to rural and urban areas, improving both economic and social life.
For years, many communities within Delta North struggled with poor or non-existent street lighting, making movement at night risky and limiting business activities.
Recognizing this challenge, Senator Nwoko took decisive action by ensuring the installation of modern, energy-efficient solar street lights powered by renewable energy.
The project, handled by Al Qibad International Limited, was carefully implemented across strategic locations within the senatorial district.
Communities that previously relied on erratic electricity supply or complete darkness at night now enjoy brightly lit streets, improving visibility, security, and economic activity.
Residents have expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, noting that the streetlights have drastically reduced crime rates, improved road safety, and extended business hours for traders.
In addition, the all-in-one solar technology ensures minimal maintenance while providing long-lasting illumination without reliance on the national grid.
As a visionary leader, Senator Nwoko continues to champion developmental projects that prioritize the well-being of his constituents.
His commitment to sustainable infrastructure is evident in this solar street light initiative, which not only addresses immediate needs but also promotes clean energy solutions for future generations.
With more communities benefiting from this project, Delta North is gradually becoming a model for rural electrification, proving that with the right leadership and strategic investments, sustainable development is achievable.
Some of the streets and communities where the projects have been executed include 52, Umusadege, Kwale-Ozoro Road, Ndokwa west. Another one is also along Kwale-Ozoro Road, Umusedeli, also in Ndokwa west.
The project is also executed at 223, Nnebisi Road, Isieke, Asaba in Oshimili South and Idumuje Ugboko in Aniocha North. He has assured of more projects in other communities in the coming days.
