Journalist Advocates For Capable Hands in Delta Governor’s Cabinet

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa needs experienced, resourceful and result oriented technocrat like Dr. Ignatius Ezoem in his cabinet.

Dr. Ezoem was the immediate past  Provost, College of Education (Technical) Asaba and chairman, Committee of Provosts of Colleges of Education in Nigeria. For the two terms he was on the saddle as Provost in the College of Education Asaba, the institution witnessed massive academic and infrastructural development that are still glaringly visible in the school.

The astute administrator made impacts that would take decades to start creating void as a result of his absence as Head of that academic citadel.

Good enough, he has been a pivotal supporter of Okowa’s government since 2015. He has always pushed for good governance; readily speaking truth to power. This is the very reason he should be in government too for the purpose of bringing to bear his ingenuity and leadership prowess.

Ezoem is a good product to recommend to a Governor who does not want distractions in his government but wishes to finish strong. Such capable hand, who is not a political opportunist or glutton but service oriented, is at best fit for appointment either as a commissioner or special adviser.

Dr. Ignatius Ezoem is from Idumuogo community in Aniocha North local government area of Delta State. He is both eminently qualified for any cabinet job in Okowa’s government and at the same time, a good representative of his people of Idumuogo who also needs a place in government for all the support they had given to the government of the day.

Patrick Ochei is a journalist from Aniocha North.
