IPC Celebrates Excellence: Uzum Commends Honorees Including Okowa, Community Leaders

Eugene Azuka Uzum, Convener of the Ika People’s Congress (IPC), extended heartfelt congratulations to former Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and other distinguished individuals recognized by the organization for their outstanding contributions to the betterment of humanity.

Expressing his delight at receiving an award for his initiative in founding the IPC a decade ago, Uzum praised the unwavering dedication of the honorees, emphasizing how their collective efforts have turned the organization’s vision into reality.

He noted that the IPC has not only exceeded its initial goals but is also strategically planning to tackle the political challenges hindering the full realization of its mission in Delta State and beyond.

Uzum urged the organization to maintain its resolve in overcoming the significant obstacles it faces, reiterating that the true impact of its foundation will be measured by its ability to advance the political progress of Ika Nation and Nigeria as a whole.

Among those honored at the event were Chiedu Ebie, Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), recognized for his impactful development initiatives; retired General Leo Irabor, acknowledged for his contributions to promoting Ika Nation; the Obi of Umunede, celebrated for his exceptional traditional leadership; and Hillary Ibegbulem, commended for his tireless efforts in empowering local youth.
