Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Senator Omo-Agege as a distinguished Deltan and accomplished public servant whose political journey has left a remarkable imprint on the nation’s democratic landscape.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I warmly felicitate with my brother and former Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, as he marks his 62nd birthday,” the Governor stated.
He praised the former lawmaker’s contributions to national development, particularly in the areas of lawmaking, representation, and advocacy.
“Senator Omo-Agege’s dedication to public service is commendable. As a lawyer, legislator, and politician, he has shown resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment in the discharge of his duties to both his constituents and the nation,” Oborevwori said.
The Governor prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and abundant blessings upon Senator Omo-Agege as he enters a new chapter of life.
“As you celebrate this milestone, I pray that God grants you greater wisdom, strength, and grace to continue contributing meaningfully to the peace, unity, and progress of our dear state and country,” he added.
