A stalwart of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli south local government area of Delta State, Oteri Homes, foldly addressed by his teeming admirers as Ghanabar, has congratulated the former member who represented Ughelli South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Hon. Barr Izeze Rume Reuben on his nomination as commissioner designate by the State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
Ghanabar, a young but vibrant grassroot mobilizer, equally congratulated Chief Hon. Sunny Onoriede on his appointment as Director of Protocol, Government House.
He described the appointment of the duo as well-deserved against the backdrop of their antecedents as party strong base in their various local government areas.
A statement he personally signed and made available to journalists, the owner of Ghana-bar Hotel, a five-star hospitality facility in Edjophen, Ughelli south local government area, urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear on their new jobs.
He also lauded them for their achievements as party members who have worked to contribute their quota to the sustainability of the party particularly in the State.
While wishing them successful tenure in office, Ghanabar expressed confidence that the duo would use their offices to ensure that the objective of the Oborevwori administration, was achieved.
The statement noted in part, “On behalf of myself, political associates and friends, I congratulate our illustrious son Hon. Barr. Izeze Rume Reuben on his nomination as Commissioner Designate and Chief Hon. Sunny Onoriode, as Director of Protocol.
“Given the antecedents of the two of them as a brilliant and cerebral politicians, I have no doubt that they will bring their wealth of experience to bear in improving the State”, he added.
