The Spiritual Director of Divine Healing Ministry, Bishop Dr. Thomas Ofudje has said that the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the 2023 general elections, in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON and his running mate, Chief Mrs. Rosemary Ishioma Oshilim would give productive governance to Deltans.
Archbishop Ofudje who is also the founder of the ministry gave the assurance during a sermon at the headquarter of the ministry in Otokutu, Ughelli south local government area of the state recently.
The clergy said the largest private investor in the state and his team are ready to provide good governance for the state, assuring that the party’s standard bearers were prepared to provide Deltans with the right leadership they yearn for.
He remarked that the governorship candidate was not in the race for the sake of becoming the governor but to return the state from the path of hopelessness to a state that works for its people.
He stated that Gbagi’s mantra, “Liberate Delta”, was geared towards providing solutions to the myriad of challenges bedeviling the state.
The cleric who took his leading scripture from Proverbs 29:2, in his message titled: “Say No to bad government”, declared: “With the mandate of this alter and with our collective faith, woo unto bad government.
“Any bad governor who wants to use blood of any human being in Delta State come 2023, woo unto you. The Spirit of Delta say no to bad government. The people of Delta are tired of bad government.
“The ark of God must enter government house”, he further declared.
Reading further from Matt 23:15, the cleric said, Jesus Christ, has cursed the bad leaders, disclosing that “God has sent Gbagi to take over this state from bad leaders. The time of the righteous has come and Gbagi is the Messiah, to Delta State.
“PDP and APC they are same party, they are one blood. We are tired of borrowing. We are going to leave the life of borrowing to the alter of production. Those campaigning are empty. Ex-convict cannot lead the state.
While charging Deltans from Romans 12:2, to purge themselves of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Archbishop said: “Renew your minds now. Your PVC will give you the power to bring Gbagi to power come 2023.
“Gbagi has not borrowed to run his election. This is the man we want in Delta State. Every leader you see are not all fit to be called leaders.
“Gbagi, invested in Delta State. You don’t go to war with a lazy man. Don’t waste your vote, work where you will benefit.
*We need a productive government, not a borrowing government. Delta State Christians, it is time to change bad government”, he added.
Earlier in his remarks, the industrialist, said: “When God ordains you, nobody can change it. By the power and grace of God, I will takeover in 2023.
“In my private life with all the things you see in Nigeria, I have not borrowed one Kobo, neither do I know how the form look like.
“As it is today, Delta State have borrowed N387 billion. You must have the ability to be able to pay that king of debt. For you to borrow, you must have industries.
“When you borrow and you don’t have the source to pay the money, it is a state of danger”, he noted.
Gbagi, was accompanied by the Deputy governorship candidate, Chief Mrs. Rosemary Ishioma Oshilim, the Vice Chairman for Delta Central, Comrade Mike Dugbo, the candidate of the party for Ughelli South State Constituency, Delta State House of Assembly, Comrade Temienor Anagbo Oghenekevwe.
Others are the Director of Legal, Gbagi Campaign Council, Barr. Mrs. Amaka Nwosu, the State Youth Leader, Comrade Matthew Luya and other members of the Campaign Council, party members and teeming supporters.
