It is an undisputable fact that when the pendulum swing towards a man, it is time for him to receive rewards for his stewardship.
No doubt, the pendulum has swung towards the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and former minister of State for education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, FNIM.
God opened the mouth of his servant, the founder of Promise Kingdom Ministries, (aka) Overflow, Archbishop Iboyi Godday, to speak on Gbagi’s travail before his newly found political family, the SDP, now a social movement in the state and beyond.
Speaking during his Church service on 7th of August 2022, when Olorogun Gbagi, alongside other candidates of the party visited Overflow headquarters in Sapele, Archbishop Iboyi, in his Spirit led sermon, revealed how Gbagi, was persecuted by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), a party he founded many years ago.
The respected clergyman who is also the Spiritual Father of Okpe kingdom, who took his reading from Acts 4:12, noted that only Jesus Christ, the son of God that has the power to save.
He commended Olorogun Gbagi’s comportment and Godly disposition towards his governorship ambition.
Archbishop Iboyi, disclosed that people who are rejected turned to be those God has raised to do greater works, stressed that if God elevates a man, no one could bring him down.
According to him, “from the beginning, people that are rejected are those that God always uses. Fear anybody that people rejects. Don’t be afraid, don’t be scared of anybody and if you have God, you have everything.
“It is only God that gives power and if God gives you power, nobody can take it from you. No weapon can stop God and nobody can stop the move of God.
While lamenting that Christian leaders are hardly seen in Church on Sundays, he said: “I thank Olorogun Gbagi, not because he is here but because of his respect and reverence for God, mark that.
“If he is rude and proud, he will put God aside and he will say anything I want I will have but you can see him putting God first and like I have been praying that as many who always seek God first, God will give answers to their prayers”.
Speaking further, the spiritual head of the Okpe Christians, noted: “Anybody can boast but it is God who has the final say, Anyone who respect God, God will honour him.
“If God points his touch light on your path, no human being can give you darkness”, saying that only Jesus could save, give life and salvation is found only in him.
This again points to the fact that Olorogun Gbagi, is the most accepted governorship candidate with the sagacity, character and integrity to move the state from the mess it is today.
