Governorship candidate on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and foremost industrialist in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON has felicitated with the Olu of Warri Kingdom, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, on his second coronation anniversary on the throne.
A press statement issued on Monday August 21st 2023, by Kenneth Orusi, Chief Press Secretary to the SDP flag bearer in the March 18th 2023 election, pointed out that the royal father has brought joy to his people since he was first crowned on 21st August 2021.
The statement said Gbagi, joined the Itsekiris and the entire Warri Kingdom in celebrating the milestone.
The former Minister of State for Education commended the monarch for upholding the legendary history and tradition of his forefathers, especially the highly organized political, economic and social structures that preceded many civilisations in Africa.
As the royal father marks two years on the throne, the former Chairman of the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, affirmed that his exposure, knowledge and charisma before ascending the position deeply impacted and expanded the influence of the domain, most remarkably among individuals who rely on him for wise counsels.
The renowned Criminologist expressed the belief that the wisdom, warmth and friendliness of the monarch also translated into peace and civility in the domain.
He prayed that the Almighty God would continue to bless the Atuwatse III of Warri Kingdom and grant him more years of fruitful reign.
