The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Delta State, His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON, has voted in his Oginibo country home, Ughelli south local government area of the state.

“I am very confident that at the end of the day, it will show genuinely that there is no buying of votes.
“What we are trying to do, is to stop as many as possible buyers of votes and they know that they won’t try it here because they are going to have ugly task. So far, I believe that we are coasting to victory”.
He said the massive turnout of voters was due to the fact that he is in the governorship race, “their son is contesting. This is SDP State, local government and country home. That is the reason.
“It has never been so but this time, their child Gbagi, is contesting. That is the reason for the turnout” he reiterated.
He pointed out that Oginibo indigenes are peace loving people who eschew evil, fighting and all forms of social vices.
“We are peaceful people, we know ourselves. I am not a thug and I don’t believe in that nonsense. Why do we need security and in any case anybody who does anything here, we know them and we will fish them out.
“I am the only proper Urhobo man contesting election. I am the only Ughievwen man and Oginibo man contesting election and this is my strength area”, stressing that the outcome of the election (results) would be obvious.
