In recognition of his selfless service and contribution to society, an advocacy group, Nigerians Voice for Good Governance, (NVGG), has bestowed an award, “Hope of the Masses” on frontline governorship aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi.
Gbagi, a well known philanthropist has contributed immensely to the development of the state, country and humanity, especially the less privileged with his Gbagi Foundation.
The award was presented to the criminologist cum security expert, weekend, during the NVGG Summit/Awards ceremony at Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North Local Government area of the state.
Represented by a former councillor in the area, Hon Luckyson Oniyan, accompanied by Evangelist Charles Buluku, the recipient assured that the award would spur him to do more for humanity and general development of the state and country.
The biggest private investor in the state, noted that he was ready to drive the process of good governance, noting that it would be his priority if elected as governor of the state come 2023.
As a renowned employer of labour and key player in the economic sector, Olorogun Gbagi, dedicated the award to Deltans.
