An award of excellence has been presented to the Delta State Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Reginald Bayoko, by the Forum of Accountants in recognition of his exceptional hard work and meritorious service to the state.
The award was presented to the HOS during the Annual Dinner Party and Award Night of the association, held at the Crescendo Event Centre in Asaba, the state capital.
Receiving the plaque of award, Mr. Bayoko, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Development, Miss Mogbolu Ngozi, expressed delight for the award and thanked members of the association for the recognition.
While congratulating members of the forum, including the Accountant-General in the state, Mrs. Joy Enwa, for organising a successful outing, the HOS emphasised the importance of accounting in running a business, both in the public and private sectors.
He charged members of the forum to live up to expectations by being professional and diligence in the discharge of their duties.
