Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation, has congratulated Muslims across Nigeria on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Maulud.
In a goodwill message from Abuja on Friday, Senator Nwoko described the celebration as significant, noting that it marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who devoted his life to the service of Almighty Allah.
He stated: “The privilege granted us by Almighty Allah to witness another Maulud celebration must be deeply appreciated, as it provides an opportunity for the Muslim Ummah to reflect on the Prophet’s life of compassion, kindness, and selflessness.
It is also a time to embrace the timeless lessons of unity and togetherness found in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, values that transcend boundaries and bring people together across cultures and generations.
As we commemorate this memorable day, may peace and social harmony flourish in Nigeria, bringing fulfilment to all.”*
Senator Nwoko further wished Muslims a joyous celebration, praying that the occasion continues to inspire faith, peace, and national unity.
