Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), stormed Issele-Uku, Aniocha north local government area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the anti-graft personnel came in search of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s aide, whose name is yet to be ascertained.
It was learnt that their presence caused tension in the community as it was the first time operatives of EFCC are seen locking around in the community.
“This Is first of its kind when EFCC will be storming this peace loving town to perfect an arrest”. a source said.
Another source hinted that the reason for their presence is yet to be known as people in Issele Uku are yet to figure out what has brought them.
Efforts to reach the Spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwajaren, proved abortive at press time.
