Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has conveyed warm Easter felicitations to Christians across Delta State and Nigeria, encouraging them to remain unwavering in their faith and devoted to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor described Easter as a profound season of hope, sacrifice, and renewal, underscoring the victory of light over darkness and life over death through the resurrection of Christ.
He urged Christians to reflect on and embrace the virtues exemplified by Jesus Christ, love, humility, perseverance, and selflessness, stressing that these values are critical to fostering unity, peace, and sustainable development in society.
Governor Oborevwori stated:
