The Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians, emphasizing the message of hope, renewal, and victory that defines the season.

In his Easter message, Dr. Osuoza reflected on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, declaring it as the ultimate triumph over death and despair.

He noted that the rolling away of the stone symbolizes not only Christ’s victory over the grave but also the assurance that no challenge is insurmountable.

Describing Easter as a season of profound spiritual awakening, the Commissioner encouraged believers to embrace the message of new beginnings, stressing that even in the darkest moments, hope remains alive.

“The stone has been rolled away; death is conquered, and the grave could not hold Him,” he stated, underscoring the enduring power of faith and divine grace.

Dr. Osuoza prayed that the glory of Easter would fill hearts with renewed strength, inspire courage, and bring comfort to individuals and families facing challenges.

He further expressed hope that the season would usher in abiding peace, overflowing joy, and fresh grace for all.

He urged Christians to reflect on the deeper meaning of the celebration and to carry its message of love, faith, and resilience into their daily lives.

The Commissioner concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful and blessed Easter celebration, marked by peace, hope, and renewed purpose.
