Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), for Aniocha North State Constituency, for the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) election, Engr. Emeka Nwaobi has retained his seat for the third term.
Engr. Nwaobi was declared winner of the just concluded Saturday’s 18th March election by the Returning Officer, Dr. Prius Ogudo, at the collation center in Isele-Uku.
Ogudo said Nwaobi polled 7937 votes to beat the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate, Bazim Sally Biose, who scored 4424 votes.
A close ally of Nwaobi, Deacon Patrick Ochei, who took to his Facebook page to announce the resounding victory said, it is official.
Hear him: “It’s official, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi has been declared winner of the Delta State House of Assembly election for Aniocha North Constituency with 7937 votes to defeat his closest rival, Bazim Sally Biose of APC who polled 4424”.
