Delta State today mourns the loss of one of its distinguished leaders, former Deputy Governor His Excellency, Chief BSC Elue, who passed away this morning.
Expressing profound sorrow, Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late statesman.
“Chief Elue was a distinguished statesman whose service to Delta State was marked by dedication, wisdom, and an abiding commitment to the growth and unity of our dear State,” Dr. Osuoza said.
“His tenure in public office reflected a life devoted to duty, integrity, and the advancement of the common good.
“He carried the burdens of leadership with calm strength and a deep sense of responsibility.”
Dr. Osuoza further urged that, in this difficult moment, the family and loved ones find solace in the remarkable legacy Chief Elue leaves behind, a legacy of service, honour, and impactful leadership.
“Delta State has lost a patriot. Nigeria has lost a servant-leader. May his memory remain a blessing to us all, and may God grant his noble soul eternal rest,” he added.
Chief BSC Elue’s contributions to the development and unity of Delta State are remembered with admiration and respect, reflecting a life committed to public service and the welfare of the people.
