A statement on Sunday January 19, 2025, made available to The Story, the immediate past Commissioner for Information said: “It is with a grateful heart and deep humility that I give thanks, praise, and glory to the Almighty God for His grace, mercies, favour, sustenance, and preservation.
“He alone has been my strength, my pillar of support, “my help in ages past, my hope for years to come, my shelter from all stormy blast, and my eternal home.”
“I also wish to sincerely and specially express my profound thanks and gratitude to my leaders and mentors; His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, and His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa (Ekwueme), immediate past Governor of Delta State, for standing by me and trusting in my capacity and capabilities over the years.
