Dr. Avweromre Inspects More Projects In Ughelli South

Demonstrating his commitment to the development of Ughelli south’s infrastructure, Chairman of the Council, Hon. Lucky Avweromre, PhD, has personally inspected all ongoing projects across the council.

This is in line with his administration’s pledge to maintain the tempo and to continue to inspect work on various projects across the council to meet standard ahead of his 100 days in office.

These are projects initiated by him on assumption of office as Chairman, demonstrating his proactive effort to deliver dividends of democracy to his people.

This initiative underscores his commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.

During the inspection tour, Dr. Avweromre, emphasized the importance of evaluating the quality of work, assessing the progress of ongoing projects and ensuring their timely completion.

“These inspections are crucial for determining the current stage of each project and ensuring they are ready for commissioning as part of our achievements in my first 100 days,” he stated.

The projects currently under rigorous review include the Okpe Olomu Health Centre, Okwagbe Health Centre, installation of solar power systems at Baba-Ido Primary School, renovation of the Legislative Chamber building, including its car park, and the development of Gbaregolor Primary School, among others.

The council chairman’s dedication to these projects has garnered praise from local leaders.

Hon. Monday Emuvakpor, a former Transition Committee Chairman of the local government, commended Avweromre for his unwavering commitment to delivering on these initiatives.

“I applaud his efforts and assure that we will work together to ensure the protection and security of these facilities,” Emuvakpor remarked.

Councillor representing Okwagbe Waterside, Hon. Disi Kpabor, also lauded Avweromre’s diligence, describing him as a dependable leader and a promise keeper.

“His commitment to the ongoing projects is evident, and he is truly an inspiration for all of us,” Kpabor noted.

Similarly, Hon. Bright Ovayaro, the Majority Leader of the Ughelli South Legislative Arm and councillor representing Olomu Ward 1, expressed strong support for Avweromre’s efforts.

He emphasized that the council chairman is at the forefront of implementing the M.O.R.E. Agenda of the state governor with resilience and determination.

Ovayaro further highlighted that Avweromre exemplifies hard work and commitment to his campaign promises, urging constituents to rally behind the council chairman to enable him to execute his programs effectively.

“Together, we can support his vision and work towards a better Ughelli South,” he encouraged.

As Hon. Avweromre continues his inspections, the community remains optimistic about the positive impact these projects will have on local development and public welfare, reinforcing the promise of a proactive and responsive local government.
