Renowned environmentalist and “Desert Warrior,” Dr. Newton Jibunoh, has praised the remarkable resilience and impact of Fostering Hopes Foundation (FHF) as it approaches its first anniversary.

He lauded the organisation for empowering 12 families with business grants and providing continuous scholarship support to 40 children until the completion of their secondary education, a feat he described as monumental within just one year.

Dr. Jibunoh gave the commendation when FHF’s Director of Community Engagement and Development, Comrade Patrick Ochei, paid him a courtesy visit at the Mandela Gardens and Resort, Asaba, to present the inaugural edition of the FHF Newsletter.

Reflecting on his own journey in establishing the Didi Museum, the Fight Against Desert Encroachment (FADE), and other notable initiatives, Dr. Jibunoh expressed admiration for the vision and dedication of FHF’s Executive Director, Nkechi Ukome, noting that she had achieved the unimaginable in such a short time.

He further applauded the upcoming plans to mark FHF’s first anniversary, pledging his active participation in the celebration scheduled for the third week of September.
