Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has condoled with the family of the former Secretary of Ughelli South local government council, David Ekwetafia Esq., over his demise after he fell into coma.
The late Ekwetafia, who hailed from Eyara died Friday 1st July, 2022, as efforts by medical experts at the Delta State Teaching Hospital, Oghara to revive him prove abortive.
In a condolence message the largest private investor personally signed on Friday July 1st 2022, Gbagi commiserated with the people of Ughelli South over the demise of the former scribe.
According to Gbagi, “the news of the death of Barr Ekwetafia has come to me as a rude shock.
“While we cannot question the decision of God, Ekwetafia must rest in the bosom of the Lord and find peace with his creators.
“It is my prayer that the immediate and extended Family will find a place with God to bear this irreplaceable loss” he added.
It would be recall that the late Ekwetafia was Secretary to Ughelli south local government council when Barr. Monday Emuvakpor was chairman, Transition Committee of the council between 2002 to 2003.
