A Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), stalwart and grassroot mobilizer in Ukwuani local government area of Delta State, Hon Gregory Edirin, has blown hot on the immediate sacked Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Peter Mrakpor, SAN, over what he termed as ‘derogatory’ outburst on leaders of the party over his “failed marriage”.
Hon. Edirin, noted that if the former wife of the Ex Justice Commissioner swallowed the comments credited to Mrakpor, in his press release, hook and sink in which he tagged some persons as “a desperate group of disgruntled politicians and enemies”, those he termed “a desperate group of disgruntled politicians and enemies”, would not accept it.
Hon Edirin said it was unfortunate that the former Attorney General chose to refer to some politicians as “disgruntled”, stressing that those he alleged were linked to the said rumour were persons who had made their names in politics, governance and business.
He maintained that it was laughable that the former Attorney General talked about his ‘hard-earned reputation’ in the press statement when he allegedly had none, alleging further that his past relationships and social life had nothing particularly good to talk about.
The grassroots mobilizer alleged that it took the efforts of PDP leaders in the former AG’s Ughelli south local government area and the goodwill of his ex-wife to make him a two time Commissioner.
Hon. Edirin alleged that Peter Mrakpor, had negatively impacted PDP in his area, causing disunity among party members and leaders, which had led to some party faithful defecting to other political parties., He further alleged.
While alleging that the former Attorney General was a questionable character, Hon Edirin accused him of inconsistency and deceit, explaining that his claim that he divorced his wife since July last year was not true, saying “the woman accompanied him to Abuja in December 2020 for his SAN investiture”.

THE Attention of Dr. Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor SAN, has been drawn to publications on Facebook and other social media platforms about a purported Pregnacy /Child delivery for him by a membet of the Ugbah Family of Ubulu Uku alleged to be a sister/Cousin/maid to Hon. Joan Onyeamachi Mrakpor ( nee Ugbah).
Dr. Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor SAN, wishes to inform all concerned that the said allegation is totally false and satanic agenda to destroy his hard – earned reputation as no person is pregnant for him or has a child for him as falsely alleged by a desperate group of disgruntled politicians and enemies.
It is pertinent to state that the marriage between Dr. Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor SAN and Honourable Joan Onyeamachi Mrakpor (nee Ugbah) broke down finally since July 2020 due to irreconcilable behavioral pattern.
Dr. Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor SAN has instructed his solicitor to commence legal proceedings agaimst any further publications about such evil allegation and to formally dissolve the said failed marriage .
