The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, has expressed appreciation the Chairman, Isoko south local government area of Delta State Hon. Victor Asasa, for his support to the union.
The Union in a release February Wednesday 14th 2024, signed by the State Council Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Churchill Oyowe and Comrade Victor Sorokwu respectively appreciated the council Chairman for the refurbishment of the Union’s Toyota Corolla car.
During a visit, the Chairman promised to refurbished the car, a promise he has fulfilled despite the economy melt down.
“Many thanks to the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council, Delta State, Honourable Victor Asasa for sponsoring the refurbishment of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council Toyota Corolla car.
“In this critical time of our economy when excuses not to grant favour are in abundance, you swiftly came to the rescue of the NUJ, Delta Council without strings attached.
“Today, the car is wearing a brand-new look, all because of your magnanimous gesture to proffer answers to challenges, like you are doing excellently well as council chairman.
“On behalf of the State Working Committee and indeed, members of the NUJ, Delta State Council, please accept our deepest appreciation for kind gesture.
“God bless you richly as your seek His face once more to serve the wonderful people of Isoko South Local Government Area in Jesus’ name. Amen!”.
