The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, has hailed its members for the unflinching support the executives have enjoyed in the last two months.
The Union in an appreciation/appeal message signed by the Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Churchill Oyowe and Victor Sorokwu respectively, told members that in due course they would reap the benefits of their unalloyed loyalty.
According to the release, says “the leadership of the NUJ Delta Council deeply appreciates our members for their continued support for the administration in the past two months.
“Your unfeigned loyalty and commitment in projecting and publicising the activities of the Council cannot be taken for granted
“In fact, the Council is taking note of all published reports on the union activities and in due course, we will appreciate our members who use our stories on their platforms.
“We therefore appeal to members to always help to make stories from our press statements and publish our stories, as the husbandman (NUJ), should be the first beneficiary of our services.
“We pray the Good Lord will bless all our works and efforts to better ourselves, the Union and the larger society this year, in Jesus Name, Amen”.
