Political leaders and stakeholders of the Ijaw nation in Delta State have congratulated His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on being named “Governor of the Year” by THISDAY Newspaper.
In a statement endorsed by 62 leaders and stakeholders, including Alaowei Broderick Bozimo, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, and Senator James Manager, the award was described as a well-deserved recognition of Governor Oborevwori’s exceptional leadership.
The leaders commended the governor’s efforts in driving development across Delta State, noting that his administration’s MORE Agenda has transformed major cities into construction hubs and set the state on a path of sustainable social and economic progress.
Part of the statement read: “There is no overstating the fact that His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda is ushering Delta State into a new era of growth and prosperity. The ‘Governor of the Year’ award will undoubtedly motivate him to achieve even greater milestones for the state.”
“His Excellency has created a conducive business and investment environment for local and foreign investors in the State. A lot of remarkable successes have been recorded in advancing urban-rural integration. In deed our Governor, has turned Delta state into the envy of many States.
