“Painfully, this area is more populated but has never felt government presence.

“We ones heard that some people came to take measurements of the road but never returned for the project for over a long time.  Now the rain has driven us inside our houses as it becomes very difficult for us to use the road during or after rain fall.”

“So whatever that will give a lasting solution, we so plead to government to come to our aid,” Dcn. Agbolahor added.

Another Landlord of the street, Mr. Okoh Ndidi, who said he met a workable association when he moved into Sunny Ojugboh street 10 years ago, pointed out that tenants have started vacating the area as no sign of hope was coming despite their effort to make the road habitable, acknowledging that residents swims through pool of flood to gain entrance into their houses.

“We can not use our vehicles again and the motorcyclists would not want to come to the street because of the bad state of the road.

“We are begging the Smart Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to come to our aid, because there is nothing other communities which their roads are being tarred are doing that we in Sunny Ojugboh are not doing. He should please help us to enable us feel the impact of his progressive government,” he said.
