Delta State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, has charged out-going corps members posted to the ministry of Information to continue to build on the experiences gathered in their service year to further improve on their skills set.
He said that this would add value to themselves and the career path they choose to follow.
Dr. Osuoza made the remarks at the send-forth event organized by the ministry for the corps members.
The Commissioner, represented by the Fn. Permanent Secretary, Mr. Lucky Omokri, appreciated the corps members for their contribution to the ministry.
He encouraged them to engage in productive activities that would enhance their market value and brighten their future.
He advised them not to focus on looking for white-collar jobs but to be creative in carving a niche for themselves to be able to stand out among their peers.
He urged the out-going corps members to be exceptional in anything they do, noting that excellence and persistence were key ingredients for success in any human endeavour.
The Highlight of the event was the presentation of gifts to the 29 corps members by the Fn. Permanent Secretary.
