Despite public outcry against police brutality which resulted in #ENDSARS protest, leading to killing and burning down police stations in Delta State and later spread across the country, security personnel are yet to learn their lessons.
Operatives of Operation Delta Hawk, a security outfit inaugurated by the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has been accused of uncivil acts in Sapele, the administrative headquarter of the local government council.
It was gathered that some boys were accosted by personnel of the security outfit on Saturday 26th 2022, at about 9:00pm along New Road by Ireto Junction in Sapele.
The Operation Delta Hawk officers took the boys to Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Junction Road along Igbeku, allegedly used their wire to brutalized the boys, inflicting injuries on their back.
A post by a Facebook page, Sapele Matters, disclosed that the operatives extorted the sum of N20, 000 from the boys despite no incriminating evidence seen on them.
At press time, effort to get reaction from the security outfit proved abortive.

THIS NA PURE OPPRESSION IF THE ARMY NOR FIT PRESENT ANY INDICTING EVIDENCE AGAINST THESE BOYS, DEN WHY DEM FLOG DEM AND COLLECT MONEY FROM THEIR HAND INCLUDING RECHARGE CARD???
