The endorsement process is an evolution! What you try to do is, you endorse someone that you believe in their ideas and their solutions align with yours.

When other gubernatorial candidates in Delta State are finding it very hard to be accepted in the forthcoming election, the candidature of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the governorship election in the state, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, FNIM is enjoying massive endorsement.

If Gbagi, were a movie, he is a sizzling heart-pounding urban fantasy that thrills and fascinates people that cut across all divides.

From farmers to civil servants, from traders to students and clerics, Gbagi, is the answer in the state and beyond.

Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha south local government area of Delta State refused to be left out, as the Council of Chiefs in the ancient palace where Gbagi, holds the traditional title of Odoziamaka of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, has endorsed him and his Deputy governorship candidate, Chief Mrs Oshilim Ishioma Rosemary, as their consensus governorship candidates for the 2023 election.

This was made known at the Palace on Saturday October 8th 2022, by the Obi in Council on behalf of His Royal Majesty (HRM), Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze of Ubulu-Uku kingdom.

Gbagi, has endeared Deltans to love him because he has a special ability, not only as an academia, but also as a straight forward person, who have gotten Deltans to believe in him.

The largest private investor in the state, is a man who does not believe in dichotomy but in the strength of togetherness.

The believe of Deltans is that they have tied the highest ideals around Gbagi, in the philosophy that they can achieve great things with him.

The former minister of State for education, Olorogun Gbagi, is what is possible in Delta State since he came along to contest in the election.

Deltans have put aside every animosity in order to support this rare breed.

Corroborating this, one of the chiefs, Chief Emma Nwoefulu, the Kaombbi of Ubulu-Uku kingdom, said: “I want to make a very important comment, by the special grace of God, SDP has won.

“Come rain, come shine, in my life, I have never voted before but because of you, I will vote for SDP and its candidates” he declared.

The prayers by the Council of Chiefs at the Obi’s Palace, got the acceptance of the Obi in Council as they promised to work for the emergence of the industrialist come 2023.

Sometimes it takes a while to recognize that someone has a special ability to get us to believe in ourselves, to tie that belief to our highest ideals, and to imagine that together we can do great things.

In those rare moments, when such a person comes along, we need to put aside our plans and reach for what we know is possible.

Earlier in his remarks, the frontline gubernatorial candidate cum leader of the party in the state, Olorogun Gbagi, solicited for for votes for the presidential candidate of the party, Prince Adewole Adebayo, ahead of the election.

The SDP governorship candidate said: “As we have done, we have informed persons close to us, kingdoms that are associated with us that as one of the children of this kingdom, that by the grace of God, supported with your prayers, I am contesting the governorship of Delta state under the Social Democratic Party of Nigeria.

“While I take this as my home, this is my place and since there is no other Ubulu-Uku son or daughter contesting for governor, I take it as a fiat that everybody here will support their own.

“I have come to plead with you people that you alone you have over 50 people under you, brothers and sisters so all of us has and if and Ubulu-Uku son is running a race, just as they have done for me at the other side I believe you people will go under ground because this matter has spiritual powers and ensure that we transform this place as part of Asaba by the grace of God.

“That is why we have come that this been our home, we don’t expect anything less. It is for Ubulu-Uku Obi in Council to disseminate the information that their son is contesting the governorship of Delta State come 2023” he reiterated.
